Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Nurse at a Residential Youth Treatment Facility, where your expertise will make a profound difference in the lives of young men facing mental health and behavioral challenges. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care tailored to the unique needs of youth in a structured, supportive environment. Your energy and commitment will help foster healing, resilience, and growth among our residents while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct resident intake assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to develop individualized care plans. Monitor residents' responses to treatments, manage acute pain, and adjust care accordingly to promote optimal behavioral health. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and behavioral health interventions aligned with residents' developmental needs. Support infection control protocols during all potential communicable disease outbreaks to ensure a safe environment for staff and residents. Communicate with behavioral health services related to psychiatric medication management. Experience Proven nursing experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Experience working with children or adolescents in behavioral health or developmental disability settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform basic patient assessments and manage emergencies confidently. Must be CPR certified and willing to attain CPR instructor status. Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
