Job Description

Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery Join McLaren Medical Group at McLaren Flint Hospital! We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for our General Surgery division. This locum position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, focusing on delivering care to patients with diverse surgical needs. Our team is committed to providing top-tier medical services, ensuring our community receives the highest quality of care.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide patient care during overnight shifts from 7pm - 7am. Handle an average of 15-20 patients per day. Perform general surgical cases, including trauma cases. Administer and manage central line and chest tube insertions. Utilize Vascular Access Devices effectively. Coordinate with inpatient trauma call support and trauma surgeons.
Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner Certification (Required) Active Michigan License (Required) Local candidates preferred (Required) Self-Query NPDB (Must be within the month prior to presentation) Submit rates at the time of name clear (Required) DEA Verbal Confirmation at name clear (Required) COVID vaccination confirmation (Required)
License and Certification Requirements:
