Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity awaits a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a significant impact in the life of a student for the upcoming 26-27 school year. This contract role focuses on providing 1:1 care for a student who is ventilator and tracheostomy dependent. Whether you are a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), your expertise—especially if you have pediatric experience with vent and trach care—can truly make a difference. You will support the student both at home and at school, including riding the bus with them each day. The daily schedule consists of arriving at the student's home by 8:00am, accompanying them to school, and returning home around 4:00pm. You'll be responsible for ensuring continuous, skilled nursing care and a safe, supportive environment throughout the day.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license Experience with pediatric ventilator and tracheostomy care strongly preferred Ability to provide 1:1 skilled nursing and emergency response as needed Comfortable with bus transportation and traveling with a student daily Excellent communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach
Role Responsibilities:
