Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare role supporting interventional radiology patients, focusing on critical care throughout the angio and neuro procedure process. Your ability to expertly manage sedation and titratable drips, combined with compassionate patient monitoring, will be essential to ensuring an optimal experience and safe outcomes. Scrubs will be provided for all shifts.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm and 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Four shifts per week (4 x 9-hour days, totaling 36 hours/week) No regular weekend shifts required One holiday shift may be needed, based on contract duration On-call commitment: one night per week and one weekend every 4-5 weeks, depending on staffing needs
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Active RN license Current certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS Critical care and sedation experience required Skilled in managing multiple titratable drips during complex procedures Excellent ability to multi-task and deliver thorough, attentive patient monitoring
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures; including IV insertion and blood draws Oversee patient safety, monitor vital signs and sedation levels during angio and neuro interventions Manage prep and recovery; complete comprehensive flowsheets Review all current medications and provide clear discharge instructions Coordinate patient transitions and contribute to collaborative, quality-focused care This contract opportunity is ideal for an RN dedicated to high-acuity patient care who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
