Registered Nurse

Are you looking for an exciting, new opportunity? Garrett Eye is looking for an RN to work in the surgery center. This is a free standing ambulatory surgical center connected to the clinic with two operating rooms dedicated to Ophthalmology. If you're energetic, self motivated, enjoys extreme attention to detail, and has excellent interpersonal skills we'd love to have you on our team! Candidate must be RN licensed in MI as well as BLS certified. Previous experience in ASC based surgery preferred but not necessary. This is a part time hourly position working two to three days a week. This position has great potential to grow! The position we are looking to fill is a nursing position for the Iron mountain Garrett Eye.

Duties would include:

• Manage supplies/medications for injection patients.
• Prep patients for injections and document accordingly.
• Manage sterile instruments used for procedures including sterilizing and maintaining the instruments and machines
• Work with the surgical director to schedule surgery patients making sure the patients have the correct medications.

Experience:

• Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must have a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Familiarity with electronic medical system (EyeMD) is a plus
