Telemetry Registered Nurse

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience in a rural hospital setting located in Kaleva, MI. This position is ideal for nurses comfortable working on med/surg/telemetry units in an adaptable acuity environment. Experience in critical care or stepdown units is highly preferred. Candidates must be proficient in interpreting ECG rhythms. Additional experience with ventilators or titrating drips will be considered a valuable asset.

Qualifications:

Current MI Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven telemetry nursing experience Ability to interpret ECG rhythms

Schedule:

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30

AM Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care on med/surg/telemetry units in a rural hospital setting Monitor cardiac telemetry and accurately interpret ECG rhythms to identify patient status changes Administer medications and titrate drips as ordered, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition, especially those requiring critical or stepdown care support
