$2,412.00 Job Description Immediate opening for an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse at Oaklawn Hospital's Birth Center in Marshall, Michigan.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of current Birthing Center experience required Experience with laboring patients, newborn care at delivery, and postpartum care required Active Michigan RN License required at submission BLS (AHA) required NRP preferred (must be willing to obtain if not currently active) Previous travel experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases Perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Deliver newborn care immediately following birth Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Document patient care, responses, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely Supervise and direct support staff as needed

Rotating weekends and holidays required Possible on-call responsibilities 36-hour guaranteed work week State-of-the-art 78-bed community hospital Traveler-friendly facility
