Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing. As a vital member of a dynamic clinical team, your experience and commitment will impact patient outcomes in a busy care environment. This is a contract role designed for Registered Nurses skilled in medical-surgical (RN-MS) care.
Qualifications:
Active RN license with current standing Minimum of one year recent experience in a Med Surg setting Proficient in comprehensive patient assessment, IV therapy, medication administration, and care planning Skilled in electronic medical records and documentation compliance Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities BLS certification required (additional certifications a plus)
Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse adult patient populations Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Administer prescribed medications and treatments, with vigilant monitoring of patient responses Chart accurately and timely in electronic health records, ensuring regulatory standards are met Coordinate discharge instructions and ongoing patient education, supporting optimal recovery Participate in team huddles, handoffs, and quality improvement processes as needed This position offers a chance to work in a highly respected environment with supportive colleagues and access to resources needed for clinical excellence.
