The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance expertise, with a focus on providing a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical circuits, resident beds, Tvs, others . Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and structural integrity. Complete daily work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory of parts and tools. Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually tasks and logs/documentation. Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during repair projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems. Maintain compliance with safety regulations such as State and OSHA standards while performing all maintenance activities. Lead facilities maintenance initiatives that enhance operational efficiency while minimizing downtime. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately. Demonstrated supervisory or supervising experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for facility aesthetic upkeep. Customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and residents when necessary.
