36 Hours Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong medical-surgical experience, trauma-level hospital experience, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Communicate effectively using SBAR and other clinical communication tools Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care Maintain accurate and timely documentation Serve as a clinical resource and support team collaboration Qualifications Active RN license (Michigan or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent straight Med Surg RN experience required No float pool, SDU, or Telemetry-only experience accepted Level I or Level II Trauma experience required Previous travel nursing experience preferred Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and patient care abilities Education Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Benefits Competitive weekly pay Housing stipend or assistance Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Supportive and responsive staffing team Why Petoskey, MI?
