Job Description
Surgical Services - RN Ambulatory/PACU Casual Scheurer, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a registered nurse to work as a casual-as needed employee in the Surgical Services Department. The Ambulatory Surgery RN is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in Surgical Services Ambulatory area for all patient populations. The responsibilities of the Surgical Services RN include but are not limited to: Rotating through all specialties of Surgical Services (Ambulatory Surgery, Recovery Room) Preparing patients for surgery. Collaboration and caring for the patient during their Operative episode. Verification of Universal Protocol Giving SBARQ report Ensuring all specimens are handled correctly Documentation on electronic record Restocking of supplies and care of equipment Functioning as a team player Recovering patients from surgery.
