Overview Join our dynamic team as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering innovative, patient-centered aesthetic treatments that enhance confidence and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and laser therapies Administer injectable treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, and other minimally invasive procedures following established protocols and safety standards Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, aftercare instructions, and potential risks to ensure informed decision-making Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with the medical team to develop customized treatment plans that align with patient goals and safety guidelines Stay current on the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine and participate in ongoing training and certification programs Manage clinic operations efficiently by scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and adhering to infection control protocols Skills Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a valid license and certification in aesthetics or related fields Strong knowledge of dermatology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to aesthetic treatments Skilled in administering injections such as botulinum toxin (Botox), dermal fillers, and performing laser or light-based therapies (esthetic laser treatment) Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate documentation and patient management Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure clients about procedures and aftercare Experience working in diverse clinical settings including medical offices, hospitals (Level I Trauma Center experience preferred), or outpatient clinics Knowledge of medical coding (CPT codes), ICD coding (ICD-10), and billing processes related to aesthetic procedures Ability to work efficiently within sterile environments using aseptic techniques during treatments Adept at managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality Join us in transforming lives through aesthetic excellence!
