Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting patient care with your expertise in medical-surgical nursing. Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in Michigan Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Current BLS certification (required) Advanced certifications in Med Surg nursing (preferred, not required)
Schedule:
Flexible shifts; details provided upon interview Weekend and holiday rotation may be required
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the medical-surgical unit Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Monitor patient status and respond to changing clinical needs Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and families to ensure patient-centered care Perform documentation accurately and timely following hospital standards Educate patients and families regarding conditions, recovery processes, and discharge instructions
