Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Other Job Type Travel An opportunity is available for a Certified Surgical Technician to support a dynamic surgical team in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. This travel assignment offers a rewarding experience working across diverse specialties including Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, OB/GYN, Ophthalmic, and Urology.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons by handling instruments and ensuring availability of supplies. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to promote optimal patient outcomes. Ensure proper sterilization and functioning of surgical equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technician. Proven experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, OB/GYN, Ophthalmic, and Urology surgeries is required. National certification is highly preferred. BLS (AHA) certification required. Prior travel experience is highly preferred for this role.
Schedule:
13-week assignment Five 8-hour shifts per week
