In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support our commitment to delivering high-quality nursing services, responding promptly to patient needs, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed orders, including IV infusions and medication management. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document patient care activities thoroughly and efficiently. Manage acute pain and provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as trauma, infectious diseases, or post-operative recovery. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and radiology procedures like sonography or mammography when applicable. Respond swiftly to urgent situations by providing airway management, ventilator support, or emergency interventions aligned with Basic Life Support (BLS) protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as ICU, emergency room, long-term care facilities, or outpatient clinics to ensure seamless patient care transitions. Skills Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in aseptic technique, sterile processing, wound suturing, catheterization (including Foley and other urinary catheters), and ostomy care. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays, and those requiring memory or dementia care. Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills. Familiarity with specialty areas such as cardiology (cardiac catheterization), ophthalmology (botulinum toxin treatments), hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health, or trauma medicine is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance at all times.
