Job Description

Category Nursing•RN•IR Job Type Contract Elevate your nursing career by working with a specialized team in interventional radiology. This contract opportunity is ideal for an RN with experience in critical care and sedation, ready to provide expert support for angiography and neurointerventional procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shifts: 7:00am•4:30pm and 7:30am•5:00pm Four 9-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) No weekend shifts; one on-call night per week and one on-call weekend every 4th or 5th rotation (based on staffing) One holiday may be required, based on contract duration
Qualifications & Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience working in interventional radiology or critical care preferred Proficiency with sedation and management of multiple titrated drips Strong ability to assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions during vascular and neurological procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and support patients throughout angio and neuro procedures Start IVs, draw blood, and prepare patients for intervention Oversee post-procedure recovery: monitor post-sedation, review medications, document with complete flowsheets, and provide discharge instructions Provide critical assessment and immediate interventions as necessary Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
