Provides direction to and supervision of RNs, LPNs, Techs, Clerks, Nursing Assistants, and/or other categories as needed.

Works collaboratively and effectively with all members of the Patient Care Team
SPECIFIC DUTIES

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Current Registered Nurse licensure within the State of Michigan. BSN required; MSN strongly encouraged. A candidate may be considered if within one semester of completing BSN degree.

Requires five years of nursing experience.

Experience in the clinical area in which application has been made is desirable. Encouraged to obtain certification in specialty area of practice.

Is a self-directed professional who is able to function autonomously in a leadership role to assist and support staff nurses in decision-making and problem-solving clinical issues related to the delivery of nursing care. Assess the skill levels of new employees and determines the extent and duration of orientation and training required.

Demonstrates ability in using the computer with Windows format preferred.

Additional InformationMunson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
