Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Other Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career by taking on a 13-week assignment within a leading high-acuity environment focused on Mother-Baby care. This rewarding opportunity places you at the forefront of care delivery for mothers and newborns, particularly those at heightened risk, and offers the chance to collaborate alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic clinical setting. Schedule/Hours 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts 7:00pm - 7:30am Every other weekend rotation Key Qualifications Active RN license required Minimum of one year of recent experience in a high-risk Mother-Baby or similar unit Current BLS and NRP certifications Demonstrated competency with risk mothers and infants History of working at high-acuity facilities Strong documentation habits and attention to detail Curious, asks probing and open-ended questions Excellent communication and self-starting skills Nurse to patient ratio typically 1:5 Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care for mothers and babies Employ the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in daily activities Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for both patients and their families Communicate essential patient and family information to multidisciplinary healthcare teams effectively Identify variances from patient goals and participate in developing and implementing solutions Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in line with facility protocols This is a chance to make a significant impact during a pivotal time for families, while growing your skills in a challenging and supportive environment.
