Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a busy Emergency Department. The RN will provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with clinical standards. West Bloomfield, Michigan Job Type:
Contract (13 Weeks, with option to extend)
Shift Details:
12-hour shifts 4 shifts per week (48 hours/week) Night shifts: 7:00 PM•7:30 AM Mid shifts: Variable, typically 2:00 PM•2:00 AM No on-call requirement Block scheduling not available
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients of varying acuity levels Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and timely Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active Michigan RN License Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification TNCC preferred
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to develop and implement effective nursing care plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency setting
Assignment Details:
13-week contract Extension opportunities available Phone interview process. CA02
Pay:
$3,200.00•$3,400.00 per week
