Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract Expand your expertise in interventional radiology within a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team while supporting patients throughout the angiography and neuro-interventional process.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm and 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Four shifts per week (36 hours total, 9 hours each) No regular weekends; on-call 1 night per week and one weekend every 4th-5th week depending on staffing Potential to work one holiday, based on contract length
Desired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Active RN license Certifications in NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS required Proven experience in Interventional Radiology and critical care settings Comfort with titratable drips and moderate to deep procedural sedation Well-versed in starting IVs and blood draws Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, procedure-focused environment
Role Responsibilities:
Assist with angiography and neuro-interventional procedures; monitor patients before, during, and after sedation Manage complex drips and sedation requirements for critically ill patients Conduct prep and recovery activities: intravenous access, phlebotomy, post-sedation monitoring, documentation, and discharge education Diligently complete electronic flowsheets and review medication protocols Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
