Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting a young learner with complex medical needs throughout the 2026-2027 school year! We're seeking a caring and detail-oriented nurse to serve as a 1:1 support for a student who is ventilator and tracheostomy dependent. Your expertise will provide the critical day-to-day care and reassurance this student and their family need. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. You'll arrive in the morning to accompany the student on the bus to school, remain on campus to provide comprehensive care, and ensure a safe return home each afternoon. Both RNs and LPNs are encouraged to apply—those with pediatric, ventilator, and trach care experience are especially valued for this assignment.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN or LPN license in good standing Prior experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care (pediatric preferred) Compassion, patience, and commitment to excellence in care Ability to accompany and supervise student on school transportation Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and school staff Reliability and dedication to full-time contracting throughout the school year
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to the student during school hours and transit Monitor and manage ventilator and trach needs Respond promptly to any health changes and provide appropriate interventions Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care Liaise with educators, therapists, and family members to ensure coordinated support Uphold all necessary medical and ethical standards If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and ready to make a difference in a student's school experience, submit your application today.
