Job Description

Regions is seeking an experienced RN to work in a full time, day shift position in our Coon Rapids Clinic. In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, provides professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care. This position functions in a care coordination role, addressing patient needs and communicating with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as appropriate. Demonstrates a caring, competent manner to instill patient confidence and contribute to an environment that is centered on the needs of patients and their families. Performs other duties as assigned.

Mon-Fri Clinic Hours:
0800-1700
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience OR completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing OR Master's Degree in nursing. One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience required. Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willing to obtain within 1 to 2 years of hire OR successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each Commission on Cancer accreditation cycle (tracked by dept). Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin (or received within 1 year of hire or have documentation showing it is in-process within 6 months of hire). BLS through AHA certified program.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year in oncology care or outpatient oncology clinic setting.
