Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care across various medical settings, utilizing your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications and injections with precision, including IV infusions and immunizations like botulinum toxin treatments for applicable specialties. Assist with complex procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, tube feedings, and sterile dressing changes following aseptic techniques. Monitor patients' conditions closely in settings like ICU, PICU, or emergency rooms, managing acute pain and providing critical care when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute care including hospice & palliative medicine or memory care programs. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and interpreting diagnostic results such as ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for accurate documentation. Educate patients and their families on health management strategies including health coaching, medication administration, and disease prevention tailored to individual needs. Skills Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, behavioral health, or geriatrics with a focus on senior care or long-term care facilities. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and treatment planning. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for efficient documentation and medical records management. Skilled in performing advanced procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, ostomy care, and ventilator management. Familiarity with specialty areas such as infectious disease care, trauma medicine (Level I & II trauma centers), occupational health or neonatal intensive care (NICU). Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations such as urgent care or hospital settings requiring rapid triage and airway management. Excellent communication skills for patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Join us in delivering outstanding nursing care that transforms lives! $42.98 - $51.76 per hour
