Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract A contract nursing opportunity is available to support a local elementary student on a 1:1 basis at a school near Minneapolis, MN. This role is suited for experienced RN or LPN professionals eager to provide direct care and step in with general nursing tasks when the student is absent.
Key Qualifications:
Current RN or LPN/LVN license (required) Previous experience in either a school setting or pediatric care preferred Proficiency with Central Lines and G-Tube management Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust with young children Dependable, organized, and able to work independently as well as within a team Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and school protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 nursing care to an elementary-aged student throughout the school day (Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-3:30 pm) Monitor, maintain, and manage Central Lines and G-Tubes according to prescribed protocols Respond to any immediate student health concerns, including emergencies and routine needs Collaborate and communicate clearly with school staff, families, and the broader health team as needed When the assigned student is out, assist with everyday health office duties, medication administration, and general student care This is a full-time, contract assignment that allows you to focus your skills where they're needed most while maintaining regular hours within a school environment.
