Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Embrace new opportunities and enhance your nursing skills in an engaging, fast-paced environment. A contract nursing role is available for a Registered Nurse with strong expertise in both Operating Room and Emergency Room settings. This position is ideal for those experienced in managing complex surgical procedures within a Level II or higher trauma facility.

Schedule will be discussed during the interview process
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Operating Room RN in a Level II trauma center or higher Current, unencumbered Minnesota RN license BLS certification required CNOR certification highly preferred Strong clinical assessment, rapid response, and critical thinking abilities Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of surgical and ER teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Circulate and scrub within operating rooms, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique Provide direct care in emergent situations, utilizing ER skills as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for surgical patients Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to regulatory and facility protocols Uphold professionalism and compassionate care for all patients in high-stress environments
