  • Per Diem / Temporary Full-Time Opportunity Associated Nephrology Consultants, located in Maplewood, MN, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
The ideal candidate understands the importance of providing personalized attention and quality care to patients while helping create a positive experience throughout their healthcare journey. This position will begin with a per diem schedule, with the anticipated transition to a full-time temporary schedule from approximately August 2026 through February 2027 to support clinic staffing needs. There is also potential for this position to transition into a permanent full-time role based on clinic needs and performance.

http://www.ancmn.com/ Qualifications Education / Knowledge / License / Certification / Registration Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota. Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Knowledge of the RN scope of practice in the State of Minnesota. Professional knowledge of clinical nursing protocols and standards of care. Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts strongly preferred. Ability to recognize medical symptoms requiring urgent or emergent care. Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations. Knowledge of clinical protocols related to obtaining and assessing vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature. Experience One to two (1-2) years of practical experience as an RN in a physician office, specialty clinic, or medical office setting preferred. Nephrology experience is a plus but not required. Skills and Abilities Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make appropriate decisions independently. Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced clinical environment. Ability to respond appropriately to urgent patient needs and changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy while working within established timeframes. Demonstrated ability in creative problem-solving, prioritization, and managing unpredictable patient needs. Proficient in all aspects of the nursing process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. Ability to provide compassionate patient support, including telephone triage, reassurance, and guidance regarding health concerns. Ability to collaborate effectively with providers and other healthcare team members. Ability to work successfully with a variety of personalities in a medical office environment. Comfortable utilizing electronic medical records and clinical computer systems. Ability to type 50 words per minute preferred.
