Procedural Sedation Full Job Description Responsibilities/Job Description:

Fairview Health Services is hiring a casual RN Cardiology Special Procedure for our St Johns Hospital in Maplewood, MN and Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN locations. This position will provide patient care to clients across all acute care sites using all modalities of stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms, bronchoscopy, CTA and stress MRI. Works closely with non

• invasive cardiology team and cardiologist to provide safe care for both inpatients and outpatients.

Schedule:

This is a casual role requiring only 1-3 shifts per week on average. Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards. Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.

Utilizes nursing process by:

planning, implementing and evaluating care given to assigned patients. Assists physicians with special procedures including admission, sedation and discharging of both inpatients and outpatients. Monitors flow of day to day operations at site in conjunction with other charge RNs at other acute care sites. RN Core Competencies•
