[Not Provided] Join a busy, collaborative hematology/oncology team in New Ulm, MN, providing outpatient-focused care with inpatient collaboration as needed. This locum tenens position is clinical only, based in a 686-bed hospital using EPIC, and supported by an experienced infusion team, nurse navigators, and other support staff. Schedule and timeline
Start:
ASAP - ongoing Typical shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Who you'll see All ages across the cancer care continuum
Volume:
roughly 11-16 patients per day
Scope:
management of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies in the outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient collaboration What you'll do Provide comprehensive medical oncology and hematology care with continuity for your patients Work closely with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, nurse navigators, and multidisciplinary providers (including telehealth-supported services) Deliver outpatient hematology/oncology services and participate in team-based care plans Requirements Active Minnesota license Board certification as a PA or APP Comfortable working within EPIC and with available clinical support staff If you're looking for a supportive hospital environment where you can focus on patient-centered oncology care during weekdays, this role offers steady volume, strong team collaboration, and continuity across outpatient and occasional inpatient needs.
