Weekend Hospice RN - Admissions, Visits & On-Call Support |
Exceptional Earning Potential Company:
Superior Hospice Compensation:
$40-$250 per hour equivalent +
Mileage Reimbursement Schedule:
Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00
AM Weekend Clinical Hours:
Scheduled patient visits and admissions from 3:00 PM-8:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday , with back-up on-call support during remaining hours.

You'll serve as both a Weekend Visit Nurse and Admission Nurse , helping patients access hospice services while supporting existing patients and families throughout the weekend. Meaningful work that directly impacts patients and families during important moments. What You'll Be Doing Complete hospice admissions, assessments, and start-of-care visits. Respond to patient needs and provide routine or PRN hospice nursing visits. Support symptom management, medication education, and comfort-focused interventions. Provide clinical guidance and support to patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members. Participate in weekend on-call coverage and triage support. Complete timely documentation and ensure continuity of care. Hospice experience preferred but not required. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Greater Twin Cities Metro Area. Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional patient care.
