1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Minnesota, requiring a MN RN license and current NRP certification with day and night shift availability. Details Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting Cares for maternal and newborn patients, including neonatal, adolescent, and adult populations Day shift: 7:00-19:00 and night shift: 19:00-7:00, 3x12-hour shifts; 4x12 scheduling also available 13-week contract Requirements Active MN RN license in good standing required Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring Workplace Violence education required 2-5 years of L&D experience preferred STABLE certification preferred 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Provides direct nursing care including medication administration, IV/venipuncture, blood product administration, and sterile dressing changes Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for neonatal, adolescent, and adult patients Delivers and documents patient and family education based on diagnosis and treatment plan Delegates and supervises support personnel in executing the patient care plan All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
