Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU / CVICU)

Day/Night:
0700-1930 / 1900-0730)
Weekly Hours:
36 hours
Schedule:
Every 3rd weekend required; floating as needed Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Cardiac Intensive Care (CVICU/CICU) Registered Nurse for a premium 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, MN. In this role, you will provide critical care to patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries and managing severe cardiovascular conditions. Key Responsibilities Critical Care Management:
Deliver comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care to cardiac ICU patients.
Patient Assessment & Monitoring:
Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, managing advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, ECG monitors, and complex IV infusion pumps.
Medication Administration:
Safely and accurately administer critical care medications and titrate vasoactive drips.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, surgeons, and therapists to implement tailored care plans.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain precise electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and care standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience is required.
Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications:
Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
Clinical Skills:
• Proficiency in patient assessment, IV insertion/management, and advanced wound care. Strong expertise in ventilation (VENT) management and critical care protocols. Exceptional ECG interpretation skills.

Pay:
Up to $2,903.00 per week
