Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success. RNs are on their feet most of the day and are expected to provide abdominal pressure during procedures. Positive attitude, kindness, and flexibility required.
Work Schedule:
Varying shifts/start times based on business need. 10-hour shifts with rotating day/night/holiday call. RNs are expected to stay beyond shift end to care for patients. RNs are on their feet most of the day and are expected to provide abdominal pressure during procedures. Positive attitude, kindness, and flexibility required.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guideline 3 years of nursing experience ACLS Certification Endoscopy Experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of a school of nursing Critical care experience is preferred Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients Telephone Fax Machine Computer Skills Current patient cate technology/equipment Photo copier
