Why Nurses Choose Sunflower Communities $35.00-$50.00 per hour based on experience +$1.00 per hour weekend differential Perfect opportunity for supplemental income or part-time work Family-owned organization with supportive leadership and strong values Tight-knit team culture where everyone knows one another Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and families Exposure to Assisted Living, Memory Care, chronic disease management, and geriatric nursing Collaborative environment where nurses have a voice and influence care decisions Opportunity to grow professionally within a stable and expanding senior living organization Clinical leadership responsibilities while remaining involved in direct resident care What You'll Be Doing Serve as a clinical leader and resource for caregivers and support staff during the day shift Perform resident assessments and respond to changes in condition Administer medications and treatments while ensuring safe medication practices Develop, update, and oversee individualized service plans and nursing interventions Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members Mentor caregivers and provide training, coaching, and clinical support Participate in admissions, care conferences, and resident reviews as needed Ensure compliance with state regulations, documentation standards, and community policies Help create a safe, welcoming, and resident-centered environment Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities and support clinical decision-making after hours What We're Looking For Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, home health, skilled nursing, or related healthcare settings preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Confidence making independent decisions and responding to changing resident needs Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Leadership mindset with a willingness to support, coach, and guide team members Passion for caring for older adults and improving quality of life Join a Team That Feels Like Family At Sunflower Communities, resident satisfaction and team culture matter.
