Job Description

Working as an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services practitioner, includes activities that instruct, assist, and support our clients in skill areas essential for every day independent living. Examples of skill areas include the following:
  • Interpersonal communications
  • Community resource utilization and integration
  • Crisis assistance
  • Relapse prevention
  • Budgeting, shopping, and healthy lifestyle skills and practices
  • Cooking and nutrition
  • Instruction on utilizing and arranging transportation
  • Mental illness symptom management
  • Instuction and support in household management
  • Transition to community living Services are provided primarily on an individual basis with clients, but occasionally may be provided in a group setting.
Hours range between 24-32 hours. They are flexible and determined based on client's needs. A minimum of 2,000 hours working with someone who has a traumatic brain injury or developmental disability is required. Experience preferred.
