Job Description

Summary The RN in the Float Pool is the basic level of professional nursing practice. She/he identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. A nurse at this level may be required to assume leadership responsibility. Nurses in our Float Pool serve patients on the following units: ER ICU (those that are trained) Ambulatory Care Department Med/Surg Women and Children's Inpatient Behavioral Health Schedule Casual position, various shifts Minimum of two shifts per 4 weeks with one of those shifts on the weekend Pay Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $43.24 per hour Bachelors in nursing starting at $43.61 per hour Masters in nursing starting at $45.79 per hour Full pay range: $43.24 - $65.47 per hour Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure in the State of Minnesota. Understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
