Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current, unencumbered RN license BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years' recent Cath Lab RN experience preferred Strong IV skills and cardiac monitoring experience Comfort in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to adapt to evolving practices and technologies
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, administering medications and sedation as needed Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, techs, and other team members Document patient status and procedure details accurately and promptly Participate in emergency procedures and respond calmly to critical situations Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-care expectations
