Job Description

About Us Branson Nephrology and Dialysis is a well established, independent nephrology practice dedicated to providing exceptional kidney care throughout Southwest Missouri. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help deliver high-quality patient care in both clinic and dialysis settings. Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work collaboratively with nephrologists to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, dialysis-related conditions, and other nephrology concerns. The APP will provide care in outpatient clinic settings and participate in dialysis rounding activities. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient nephrology clinics. Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor outcomes. Provide chronic kidney disease education and counseling. Round on dialysis patients in collaboration with supervising physicians. Review laboratory and diagnostic results and make appropriate treatment recommendations. Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record. Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, dialysis staff, hospitals, and referring providers. Respond to patient questions and address clinical concerns. Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives. Qualifications Required Current Missouri Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license. Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff. Preferred Previous nephrology, internal medicine, family medicine, hospitalist, or dialysis experience. Experience managing chronic disease populations.
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM-2:00 PM Occasional early morning dialysis rounds as patient care requires.
