Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, with expertise in various nursing disciplines, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort across multiple care settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual care requirements. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Provide wound care, including suturing and ostomy management, utilizing sterile processing procedures to prevent infection. Operate EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation of patient care activities and medical records management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency room, trauma centers, or neonatal units to coordinate treatment plans. Manage complex cases involving chronic conditions like cardiac issues, infectious diseases, or neurological disorders with an emphasis on pain management and critical care protocols. Support patients across various settings including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and hospice services. Demonstrate proficiency in specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and ventilator support. Experience Proven clinical experience in diverse healthcare settings including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU/CCU/PICU units or trauma centers. Demonstrated expertise in critical care procedures such as airway management, ventilator operation, neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), or trauma medicine. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions like Alzheimer's disease or memory care needs. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for documentation accuracy and billing compliance. Prior employment in medical-surgical units or outpatient clinics with exposure to internal medicine or primary care practices. Knowledge of infection control standards aligned with NCQA standards and hospital accreditation requirements. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory results or medical imaging techniques such as sonography or mammography when applicable.
