  • Permanent, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations, including those in acute care, long-term care, and community-based environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a collaborative and innovative healthcare organization. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks to document patient care accurately and efficiently. Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection/processing, and laboratory testing to support clinical decision-making. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as trauma, cardiac conditions, infectious diseases, or behavioral health issues. Manage airway interventions, ventilator support, tube feedings, wound suturing, ostomy care, and other advanced procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies to ensure seamless patient transitions. Requirements Valid RN license in the state of practice with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers is highly preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures such as catheterization (urinary or cardiac), phlebotomy, IV insertion, and suturing. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology principles, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding and documentation standards. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal or individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills combined with a proactive approach to patient assessment and safety protocols. Join our team to deliver compassionate nursing care that transforms lives!
