Job Description

Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity | Long-Term Care Granby House, a rural 60 bed facility, is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. The DON is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and fostering a culture of quality and resident-centered care. Responsibilities Direct and supervise all nursing services within the facility. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee resident care plans and clinical outcomes. Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention of nursing personnel. Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Monitor infection prevention and control practices. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Participate in survey preparation and plans of correction as needed. Mentor and support nursing staff through education and professional development. Qualifications Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience preferred. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey processes. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to lead teams and promote a positive work environment.
