Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum 1 year of experience in Med-Surg (MS) nursing BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities Capability to adjust to new teams and fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in the Med-Surg unit according to established protocols Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient status Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and recovery processes Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards Adapt to facility-specific procedures and electronic medical records
