Job Description
This position has the responsibility of floating to specialty areas to provide nursing services to Cath Lab, CVICU, and Interventional radiology; setting-up electrical and hemodynamic transducers and amplifiers; recording and obtaining hemodynamic, electrical and angiographic data; and assessing patients during the procedures and delivered therapy. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law. Graduate of an approved school of nursing required Current licensure as professional registered nurse in Missouri or licensure eligible required Two years RN experience required Experience in cardiovascular procedures, including interventional cardiology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Structural Heart preferred Maintains basic life support validation Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process Demonstrates skill in area of specialty ACLS within six (6) months Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment Creativity, problem analysis and decision making Ability to work varied shifts Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills
