00 per hour Compensation based on years of experience Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and step-down level care. This role involves advanced patient assessment, ECG interpretation, emergency response, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, advanced cardiac assessment abilities, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced clinical situations. 1 Technician per hall Patient Population Chest pain Stroke COPD Post-operative patients Gastrointestinal conditions Accelerated heart rhythms Drip management Step-down level care from PCU Team Environment Supportive leadership and mentorship Collaborative team culture Career advancement and professional growth opportunities Education-focused work environment Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care according to hospital policies and standards Perform continuous patient assessment and cardiac monitoring Interpret ECGs and cardiac rhythms accurately Respond promptly to arrhythmias and emergency situations Provide care for: Young adults (18-39) Adults (40-64) Geriatric patients (65+) Stabilize pediatric patients under 16 years old until transfer if required Specialized Nursing Skills Develop and maintain expertise in: Cardiac monitoring Step-down patient care Drip management Psychosocial and spiritual patient support Pathophysiology and therapeutic interventions Safety & Quality Identify and address clinical risks and unsafe practices Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate and timely documentation Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program: Diploma Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Experience Minimum 1 year of acute care Registered Nurse experience required Licensure & Certifications Current Missouri Registered Nurse License or Compact Multistate RN License required BLS Certification required upon hire ACLS Certification required within 1 year of hire For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
