Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health and behavioral health conditions.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients' mental health status, including identifying signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and behavioral health conditions. Obtain comprehensive patient histories, perform behavioral assessments, and utilize appropriate screening and diagnostic tools. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on clinical needs and treatment goals. Administer psychiatric medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies. Monitor patients for medication effectiveness, side effects, adverse reactions, and changes in mental status. Provide crisis intervention, therapeutic communication, and emotional support to patients and families. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment plans. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment while adhering to behavioral health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
2 Years of Psych experience•Required Meditech Experience BLS (AHA) Active Blue Card CPI required to submit.
RN License Pay:
$48.00•$56.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have at least 2 years of recent Psychiatric (Psych) RN experience? Do you currently hold an active RN license? Do you have a current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)? Do you have experience using the Meditech EMR system? If yes, how many years? Do you currently hold an active Blue Card CPI certification required for submission?
