Full-Time |On-Site Calo is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team. The nurse plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our preadolescent and adolescent students. This position supports high-quality nursing care, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to a positive and healthy program culture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical‑thinking skills, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the students we serve.Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care following Calo standards and SOPs. Administer medications safely and accurately. Triage and treat illnesses and injuries within scope of practice. Follow infection control protocols and respond to infectious diseases. Complete all documentation in BestNotes by end of shift. Perform waived testing, phlebotomy, and basic nursing procedures. Process physician orders and maintain student health compliance. Support and guide unlicensed nursing staff. Maintain healthy boundaries and positive relationships with students and staff.Qualifications:
At least 21 years of age Ability to pass criminal background check Free of communicable disease, other evidence of ill health, or a condition which adversely affects ability to care for or poses a threat to children Experience- Psychiatric or residential nursing experience preferred. Education
- Current Missouri or compact state license (in good standing as an LPN or RN.
