Shift Type = Days & Nights Shift Hours = 12‑Hour Shifts Assignment Length = Up to 13 Weeks Schedule = PRN (approximately 2-3 days per week) On‑Call = Not specified Patient Population = Critical illness and rehabilitation patients Facility = SSM Lake Saint Louis (Select Medical) Patient Ratio = Varies by acuity EMR = Kronos Description of job: SnapCare is seeking a dependable and patient‑focused Registered Nurse (RN) to provide PRN day and night-shift coverage at Select Medical•SSM Lake Saint Louis. In this role, the RN will deliver high‑quality care to patients recovering from critical illness while supporting rehabilitation goals in a specialized care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process while supervising support staff and contributing to a safe, collaborative clinical environment. Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience Current BLS certification Active RN license Experience in rehab, LTAC, or acute care preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently in a PRN setting

Responsibilities:

Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans Provide direct patient care and evaluate patient outcomes Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care Support rehabilitation goals and patient recovery Promote patient and staff safety in all aspects of care
