Job Description Join the Medical Intermediate Unit at Saint Luke's East Hospital , where you'll be part of a collaborative team in a supportive environment that fosters learning, growth, and excellence in patient care. Medical intermediate is a 30-bed unit that cares for a variety of diagnosis & complex medical conditions including the care of surgical, cardiac, & stroke patients. The nursing team on medical intermediate values unit teamwork, quality patient care, & has a passion for growth/development. With several experienced charge nurses who joined the team upon the units opening, this group has a strong foundation & are eagerly looking forward to growing our team. Support staff on this unit include nursing assistants, a clinical coordinator, and clinical educator. At Saint Luke's, you'll gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of medical conditions and care processes-enhancing your clinical expertise and making a meaningful difference every day.

Position:
Full-Time Days Schedule:
12-hour shifts In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Active Missouri RN license (or compact license) Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills Passion for patient-centered care
Job Requirements Applicable Experience:
