Job Description
Beacon Healthcare Group is seeking an RN for their newly opened Infection Control/Clinical Educator position located in Lexington MO. Riverbend Heights Health & Rehabilitation has been growing over the last year, and we need to fill this position to keep up with our influx of residents. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the clinical skills of our staff through effective training and education. This position requires a strong background in healthcare, particularly in areas such as physiology, infection control, epidemiology and have a strong understanding of infectious diseases, public health principles, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff. Provide training and guidance to nurses on clinical procedures and best practices. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify learning needs and gaps in knowledge. Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop educational goals and objectives. Create educational materials, such as presentations, handouts, and online resources. Deliver educational sessions through various formats, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced modules. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments. Stay up to date with current healthcare practices, regulations, and advancements in nursing education with administrative responsibilities. On Call rotation with managementTeam Requirements:
Valid nursing license (RN or BSN) - Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience. Experience in teaching or providing education to healthcare professionals. Knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
