Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. The Graduate Nurse (RN) Inpatient works under the supervision of leadership. The GN Inpatient assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care according to standards. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patient. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.
The Graduate Nurse position is time limited. A person may remain in the Graduate Nurse position until one of the following occurs: 1) They become a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in their designated working state OR 2) They receive a failing score on the nurse licensure exam and are moved to another position in which they qualify. > Additional Information

- Ability to give injections, administer medications, change dressings; fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, answer phone, data entry. Interpersonal Skills
