Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care in the Main OR and Hybrid Imaging suite, assisting vascular surgeons with both endovascular and open surgical cases. Utilize the nursing process in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide optimal patient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgical techs and nurses to ensure seamless OR workflow and patient safety. Maintain professional accountability and adhere to patient confidentiality standards. Participate in float assignments as required by the facility. Provide care for patients ranging from outpatient to critical care with a 1:1 patient ratio.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current RN licensure eligible for or licensed in Missouri. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma hospital setting, preferably a teaching hospital. Proficient in both scrub and OR circulator roles. At least 1 year experience in interventional vascular procedures and competent in conscious sedation. BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Demonstrated communication skills and clinical expertise in surgical nursing.

Schedule & Additional Details:

Day shift, 4x10 schedule (0630-1700), 36 guaranteed weekly hours. Weekend and call duties as required, with call averaging fewer than 5 shifts per 8 weeks. Strict flu vaccination or approved exemption required November through April. Professional black scrubs required, no jeans or unprofessional attire permitted.
